        History

Saudi Arabian Tankers Company Limited was formed in 1954. The company was founded in order to implement the famous agreement between Saudi Arabia and Aristotle Onassis, which turned the United States, the Northern European countries and the oil companies against him. The company operated a tanker, the Al-Malik Saud Al Awal, between 1954 and 1959, but in the end the agreement was never implemented and, after the final judgement of the International Court of Justice in The Hague in 1958, which declared the agreement invalid, it was dissolved.
